I'm a SAHM&W

Some people actually think I have a pretty good way of expressing my opinion about a book, and I've felt honored to help out here at Novelspot..

My taste in books:

Favorite authors:

I like very erotic romances, especially paranormals and bondage-and-discipline tales.

I have a lot of favorites, but of contemporary writers my faves include Devyn Quinn, Marianne LaCroix and Lizbeth Dusseau.

What makes a book a keeper?

What makes me throw a book at the wall?

For me its character development. I like the characters that convince me that their stories just possibility could happen. And hot, steamy erotic elements don't hurt!

Strictly formula plots, emphasis on vulgarity and poor use of grammar. I also hate hackneyed archetypes, e.g. the bad-ass & bitchy weapon-wielding heroine; the sensitive, pouty hero; the long-legged, predictably evil blond female antagonist.

My favorite genre and why?

My least favorite genre and why?

BDSM erotic romances. I live the lifestyle and appreciate a well-written story with this theme.

Cookbooks. I loathe cooking.

My bathroom library:

My to be read list:

At the moment our book stand holds: Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, Applicant by Lizbeth Dusseau, Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Dictionary 3, and a couple of Valiant Arms catalogs.

Pirate's Mistress by Marianne LaCroix, Sins of the Night by Devyn Quinn, Birches by Lizbeth Dusseau.
